CarAngra Comercio e Reparação Automóvel, Lda was established on May 1, 2003. At the beginning of its business its major partner Miguel Oliveira had the intention of developing a franchised activity of automobile clinic to complement its activity in selling used and semi-new cars. The opportunity arose through the combination of two events: the development of the activity of clinic and car aesthetics and the trade and repair of vehicles.
In 2003 the activity of CarAngra was developed in a small garage with 100m2 and in an open air park where the cars for sale in Atalaia, Ribeirinha were exposed. In 2004, construction began on the new commercial space that offered better conditions and new services. The new facilities had an exhibition hall for cars with 150 m2, an open-air park with 200m2 and a workshop with 350m2 where services were differentiated.
In August 2005, CarAngra started to represent the Italian Brands, Fiat, Lancia and Alfa Romeo, and began to trade new cars. In December 2005 CarAngra inaugurated the new facilities, also in Atalaia, Ribeirinha and at the same time happens to represent the Swedish brand Volvo.
In 2006 the company expanded its range of services through the representation of ExpressGlass, which is dedicated to the replacement and repair of car windows.
In 2007 another brand was added to the CarAngra universe, Land Rover, which started to market vehicles of all segments, from small utilities and commercial vehicles to premium vehicles, passing through the Off-road.
In 2008, with the development of the activity, there was a need to grow the facilities, with an exhibition area of 250m2 for new vehicles, an open-air park with 400m2 and a workshop with 1200m2. In this last space there are areas for mechanics, diagnostics, electricity, plate, painting, washing, reception and warehouse of parts. Outside the workshop, it has a parking and support to the activity of 1500m2.
In 2015 CarAngra, redesigned its exhibition area of new cars, making the space more modern and more visible.
It currently has a young and dynamic team of 17 employees, making a difference with a service of proximity and excellence always thinking about its customers.
